addaction; Families Plus Project

Families Plus Project is a family service within East Dunbartonshire. Their aim is to help families affected by drug and alcohol problems by offering intensive support and individual recover plans. They are an outreach service, working with pregnant women and families with children up to the age of five. The project workers are based within Kirkintilloch Health and Community Care building but will meet families in their own homes, or in the community.

Kirkintilloch Integrated Health and Social Care Centre

This centre combines local health services from NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and Social Services from East Dunbartonshire Council under one roof.

Based on Saramago, the centre will offer the public a range of services which are currently provided from across the town and beyond, all in one location.

People in the area can now visit the centre to get a service from various teams including district nursing, podiatry, physiotherapy, the community older people's team, family planning, occupational therapy and health improvement.

The building will also provide specialist services for people with an addiction, a learning disability or for those who are elderly. 

The building has an attractive and welcoming environment for customers/patients and staff.

It has comfortable waiting areas, a sensory garden, fresh and bright modern consulting rooms and a joint reception area between Health and Social Work.

Opening Hours:

  • Visitors can access this building during office hours. Monday – Friday from 8.30am – 6.00pm.
